Hey everyone! I’m here today to talk about my TBR for Contemporary-a-thon round 6. It takes place February 10-16, 2020. This is my first time participating in it, and I’m actually doing it through an online book club I’m a member of. Let’s get to the challenges and see what books I’m reading for them!
Read a contemporary book with green on the cover
My edition of Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is completely green lol even has green sprayed edges
Read a contemporary book by a new-to-you author
I’ve heard great things about this book and this author so I’m excited to try it for myself
Read a diverse contemporary book (keeping in mind that it is Black History Month)
Read a backlist contemporary book (something that has been on your TBR for over a year)
This makes a year on my TBR in April, plus I don’t really read contemporary (trying to branch out) so this is my selection
Read a dark/hard-hitting contemporary
I don’t have a book for this prompt
Read a contemporary book with an illustrated cover
Both Fangirl and Get a Life, Chloe Brown have illustrated covers
Read a contemporary book that is beloved by a member of the book community and shout them out
I know Fangirl is one of Gabby from gabbyreads favorite books so this a shout-out to her 💚

I actually love contemporaries, so that would be a perfect one for me! (despite the fact It can take me up to 2weeks to read only ONE book …)
I love how both books works for many prompts for you, “Get a life Chloe Brown” is one that is on my virtual wanna read aswell!

I haven’t seen prompts for this read-a-thon, but I really like these! Maybe I’ll jump in! I’m already reading Get A Life Chloe Brown and really enjoying it. 🙂 And I have a couple of other contemporaries checked out from the library. Hope you enjoy the RAT!!
