End of The Year Book Tag

Hey everyone! I kept seeing this tag all over Booktube so I decided to do it as well.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

The main one is Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I got about 200 pages in and stopped for who knows what reason. So my plan is to restart it this month and hopefully finish it this month. Same goes with Allegiant by Veronica Roth, The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, and A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?

I honestly don’t know what to use to answer this. I’m not sure what is considered an autumnal read.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Nope. Mainly because I’m so behind on the series that have new books coming out that I can’t really be excited for them. Same goes if it’s an author I’ve never read from.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Besides the ones I mentioned in the first question, I would also like to get to Another Jekyll, Another Hyde by Daniel and Dina Nayeri, Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor, and Nevernight by Jay Kristoff.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

That’s asking a lot lol my current favorite is Untamed by A. G. Howard and that book put me in my first ever book hangover. That was followed by A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas so maybe A Court of Wings and Ruin May do the same. I just don’t feel it take the top spot.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

Yes I have. Well kind of. I know I want to do the Around the Year in 52 Books Challenge again as well as try to catch up on series that I started this year. Plus I will try to make sure I actually do more reviews and blog posts. Other than that, we shall see.

Well that is the tag! If you would like to do this, consider yourself tagged. Hope everyone has a great day! 💚
