What are you currently reading
Still continuing with my buddy reads. I’m way behind on Strange, and need to read this weeks section for The Diviners. Also highly tempted to pick up Aurora Burning since my copy came in yesterday.
What have you recently finished
Reading has been a struggle this month, but I finally finished my first book. Luckily for me, I’m 5 books ahead of schedule to reach my goal of 100 read this year. So I’m not really stressing about reading.
What do you plan on reading next
Probably one of these or one of the ones I’ve been reading since last month lol I need to finish them but I’m also wanting to start all the books smh mood reading has hit hard

I tried reading Strange the Dreamer once and it was just too…. idk weird??? Lol I don’t know, maybe I’m just not into that side of fantasy.

Me and Strange…have a history lol not really 😂 but I was told it’s more character based and I’m a character person so I’m hoping it works really well for me

Oooh I feel like I’ve heard really good things about Ash Princess lately even though it’s an older book. I really want to get to it someday.

your list looks nice! i still haven’t finished we set the dark on fire and i really want to read we unleash the merciless storm.

I am tempted to just push everything I’m currently reading aside and just reread We Set the Dark on Fire so I can read the sequel. Feel the same way about the Aurora Cycle series

I loved Strange the Dreamer but its character driven so there is definitely a mood for that book but it is probably my favorite book ever. I know a lot of people dont connect with it tho bc they prefer plot driven books

I’m actually a character driven person so that’s perfect for me. I find with Laini Taylor’s writing I have to annotate in order to retain things but that just makes me connect more I feel.

I annotate in my kindle a lot! Most of the time for reviews but also sometimes I’ll highlight things that are important to remember. Like the wording of a Curse or something. But I will make notes of my thoughts throughout the book.
