Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller book review

I finally got to the sequel!! I ended up choosing it for my Defense Against the Dark Arts prompt of set at sea/coast because I wasn’t really in the mood for Sea Witch. I am sooo glad I did! I missed Alosa and Riden and her crew.

The first book, Daughter of the Pirate King, was the very last book I read last year. I literally read it December 31 lol you read my review here. I have them both 4/5 stars. This one hurt though. People were definitely trigger happy in this one.

I stand by what I said in my first review. Alosa is Jack Sparrow and Riden is Will Turner. Her dad is Davy Jones. (I’m basing these off of the movies….which I love)

The reason this lost a star was because I felt a certain plot line wasn’t up to what the rest was. Plus it seemed like such a big deal, but felt just meh to me. Like more could have be done with it.

This is another author I will continue to read from. Have you read this duology?? What did you think? How about the author? Do you like their writing? Let me know and happy reading 💚
