Hey everyone! Today I wanted to talk about book series. I love reading series, but I have a bad habit of starting them and not continuing. It’s not intentional. I just keep finding other series to start or just other books in general. So here are the series that I have started in 2019 (except one that I started back in high school) that I would like to finish or at least make progress in.
- Alex Cross by James Patterson started in high school- on book 11
- The Others by Anne Bishop book 2 has been started
- Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews I’m reading the novellas as well so I have 3.5 to read before starting book 4
- The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne on book 4
- The Edge by Ilona Andrews on book 3
- Saga by Brian K. Vaughan I have no clue what issue I’m on since I’ve read the book bind ups and not the single issues. So I can say I’m on book 2
- Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas On book 2
- Fever by Karen Marie Moning on book 2
- A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas again…on book 2
- The Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini do I need to say I’m on book 2?
The two series I should be finishing soon are the Divergent trilogy (plus Four) by Veronica Roth and the Another series by Daniel and Dina Nayeri (brother and sister writing combo). I’m on the last book of both of these series.
What series do you want to start/continue/finish?? Have you read any of these? Have you recently finished a series? I’m hoping to make progress on at least 3-5 of these. Happy reading 💚

I’m pretty good about finishing reading a series but I also tend to stay away from them these days. I read a lot of trilogies though! About to start a new one today too, and I think the only series I’ve read recently is Maze Runner but I haven’t read past the first one yet, only because I just finished acquiring the books last week lol

Good luck reading up on all of these series! I am actually really good about keeping up with the ones that I want to, it’s all the other books on my TBR that I have trouble getting to!

I just got back into reading this year so of course I want to read all the books I see recommended on booktube. That’s how this all started lol

I am in the middle of reading the Game of Thrones series. I am in no hurry to finish them after watching this last season but I eventually will. I have read the Divergent series. I really liked the first book and the rest were just okay to me. How are you liking them so far?

I’m hopefully going to at least start working on Game of Thrones this month and I loved Divergent and Insurgent. I’m really cautious about Allegiant though

Ahaha I have started so many series and I’ve finished a lot but there’s probably more unfinished at the rate I start series. Throne of Glass I got to erm book 5 (Empire of Storms) I still have to read Tower of Dawn then Kingdom of Ash but I really wanna reread the series before continuing on…also I’ve got A Court of Frost and Starlight to read still xD Then I have The Devils Isle series by Chloe Neill, I’ve got the last book left to read…Good luck with making progress on all these series!

I’ve also started the Devil’s Isle series. I on book 3. I need to read it because the way book 2 ended I was royally upset with Liam. I will (hopefully) use this second half of the year to try and catch up on these series and others so then I can start more 😂

Phahaha I remember being mad at Liam too at the end of book 2, honestly the end of book 3 I was like O.o there has to be another book like pls hehe

Ok that settles it…..I have to read book 3 ASAP 😂 I will make that book fit somewhere on one of the 4 readathons I’m doing this month

I plan on it lol they are both definitely something I want to continue and find out if I love them as much as others. If I’m just going by the first two, I preferred Throne of Glass over ACOTAR but only time will tell
